Senior Pastor
Kia ora! I am a follower of Jesus, husband to Rachael, and father of 4 tamariki. Together we love Jesus, manaakitanga and sharing our lives with people, and hearing the living God speak through His word.
I had a wonderful childhood growing up in the rural Far North, and came to know Jesus while studying Engineering at Canterbury University when a friend of mine invited me to a church that welcomed me warmly and really cared about who I was and what I was going through. It is a real joy to be serving here at Mt Roskill Baptist Church, opening the Scriptures wherever possible and pointing people to the life and hope found only in Jesus, and leading the staff team. I love a good bike ride, listening to music, and fine-tuning my latest cooking creation.
Dave joined us as our Senior Pastor in March 2023.
Halee Peng
Children & Youth ministry
Halee has been working at Mt Roskill Baptist since 2019 and has a background in primary teaching.
She leads the children’s ministry team which cares for our 0-11 year olds, which includes Roskill Kids, LaunchPad within our local schools and running intergenerational ‘messy church’ services each quarter.
Halee is a trained Triple P Parenting Provider and can run parenting discussion groups and one on one parenting consultations on a wide variety of topics within our church and community.

Operations & Communications Lead
Hi! It’s a great privilege to serve the family of Mt Roskill Baptist Church in the capacity of Operations and Communications Lead.
I am mum to two gorgeous children, and married to a wonderfully supportive husband. I care deeply about people, and love hearing the stories of how lives have been changed after an encounter with Jesus.
I am always up for having a good laugh, and am willing to give most things a go!
